    • Can I use my MYLAPS transponder in another kind of sports?

    • Each transponder is optimized to perform at a sports specific characteristic. Therefore transponders are not interchangeable between different sports and MYLAPS timing systems.

    • How do I register a transponder to my account?

    • After logging in, you can connect your transponder in the " Your Products" menu in you account settings.

      You can enter the profile menu by selecting your name in the top-right corner, than press ‘ Settings’.

      You can add your transponder under ‘ Your products’.

    • Can I upgrade my transponder when I don't have an internet connection?

    • If you have no internet connection but you do have a subscription, there is a backup solution - see Chapter 5.3.2 Activate transponder (via SMS) on page 18 in the FLEX Transponder & FLEX Manager User Manual.

    • How do I install FLEX Manager?

    • Download it from here (make sure that you have administrator rights to install FLEX Manager). Keep in mind the FLEX manager will only run on Windows operating system.

    • FLEX Manager automatically checks for the latest version when it starts up on your PC with internet.

    • What is the MYLAPS FLEX Rechargeable Power Transponder?

    • It is a pay for use based transponder for timekeeping. You pay a fee for using the transponder for a certain period of time (normally 1 year).

    • I didn't activate my transponder but I want to race now. What do I do?

    • Follow the instruction in section 5.3.1 Activate transponder (via internet) on page 16

    • How do I see when my transponder is NOT active?

    • The LED on the transponder will flash RED fast (5 x per second).

      If you connect your transponder to the FLEX Manager software (on your PC) using the FLEX cradle, Flex Manager will display the expire date and the status of the transponder (active or not active) next to the LED on the screen.

Trouble Shooting

    • My FLEX Manager won't connect to internet - what do I do?

    • Try to access a website to check your internet connection is OK (e.g. www.mylaps.com)

      1. If you cannot access a website, check your internet settings.
      2. If you can access a website, check that you can access "flex.mylaps.com".
      3. If you cannot access "flex.mylaps.com", please contact MYLAPS.

    • How do I connect the FLEX cradle to my PC?

    • Use the enclosed USB cable to connect to a USB port. Remember to FIRST install the software before connecting the cradle.

    • I don't have a credit card, how can I order from the webshop?

    • Without a credit card a you can't buy in the MYLAPS webshop. If you don't have a credit card yourself, please ask someone in your neighbourhood to help you out or contact MYLAPS for your options.

    • Can I buy a new holder when I have the old type Car/Bike transponder (TranX 260)?

    • The new holder will not fit the old Car/Bike transponder. The old holder is still available but is not sold in the webshop. If you like to purchase an old type holder, please send an e-mail to info@mylaps.com

    • No, the new charger is designed to only fit the current type transponder.

    • How can I register a second hand transponder?

    • All owners of a MYLAPS transponders can create a MYLAPS account to view personal race and / or practice results. Due to privacy regulations it is not possible to register a transponder number that has already been registered. To be able to register a second hand transponder it needs to be unregistered from previous owner's account. Please visit the used transponder section for further instructions.

    • Can I register multiple transponders in my account?

    • Yes, there is no limit to the amount of transponders and chips you can register to your account.

      When you are logged in into your account go to Settings. In the "Your Products" tab you can register multiple transponders or ProChips

    • I forgot my password, how can I retrieve my password?

    • If you cannot remember your username or password, you can use our resend login-information page to retrieve your account information. Enter your e-mail address and press the "New password" button. You will receive an e-mail with the account information linked to this e-mail address.

      When the e-mail address in your account is not in use by you anymore, please contact us via info@mylaps.com. Please state your name, transponder number, old e-mail address and new e-mail address so we will be able to change this for you.

    • Is it possible to see all my results when I race with different organizations?

    • As long as the organization uses MYLAPS timing equipment and uploads the results to MYLAPS.com you will be able to see all your results. All your results will show in your personal MYLAPS account making them easy to find, no matter what organization you had a race with.

    • What do I need to do when my result is incorrect?

    • The results are created and uploaded by your race organization. If your results are incorrect you should contact the race organization to correct this and re-upload the results to www.mylaps.com

    • How can I change my name in race results?

    • Race results are uploaded by the event organisation or the timekeeping company at the track. When your name shows wrong in the results you will need to contact the organisation or timekeeper to have this changed. They are responsible for the uploaded information, MYLAPS is not able to change this information.

    • How can I change my name in my MYLAPS account?

    • When you log in into your personal account on MYLAPS.com you will be able to change your profile under " settings".

    • MYLAPS cannot track your stolen or missing transponder. You can do that yourself by regularly logging into your account and see if it has been used by somebody else.

    • How can I find my latest race results on the MYLAPS website?

    • You can find your results in your sports and country section on www.mylaps.com. Race results are uploaded to mylaps.com by your race organization. If your results are not on the MYLAPS website, please contact your race organization why the results are not online yet.

      When you used your personal MYLAPS transponder, you will be able to easily find your latest results in your MYLAPS account.

    • How long do the results stay on the MYLAPS website?

    • As long as Mylaps.com exists the results will be available. Keep in mind that when you sell your transponder and the new owner re-registers the transponder, all the historical results will be disconnected from your account.
